Brothers, Tuesday evening I had the honor and privilege of presenting the Bruce D. Higdon Brotherhood Scholarship to a deserving youngster (Madison Webb) in our active chapter.  It was presented during a fraternity meeting at the Chapter House in Montevallo.  If you look closely at the picture, you may see some other elderly scoundrels with me. It, most likely, won’t be too hard to pick out Madison.  I still have to pinch myself to realize that this is in my name.  It is an honor I will always try to earn.  I also feel it is from us all.  We are truly blessed; and it is only right to share our blessings.  I/we particularly want to honor those brothers who have led the way to heaven’s gate.  More news about that in the future.

Today I sent in my donation to our fund and it was in honor of Jack D. Davis and Mrs. Inez Fuqua (Dan’s mother).  To all who have donated (or will donate), I thank you on behalf of those like Madison it will help.  I love you all and I can’t wait for next weekend.  BUIB, Bruce
